1 | Crew must follow the Skipper's instructions at all times. |
2 | Crew will dress and act in such manner to maintain the standards set by GYM. |
3 | All travel to the yacht will be at the crews' expense unless otherwise stated by GYM. |
4 | In the event of the vessel being delayed the crew will have to remain with the vessel until completion of the delivery. |
5 | In the event of crew being dismissed by GYM or by the Skipper or the crew decide to leave the vessel at any time they will be responsible for their own repatriation costs. |
6 | With no exception, any person, carrying/using illegal substances will be immediately or at the next port of call handed over to the appropriate authorities |
7 | All crew must have adequate travel and medical insurance. GYM. nor the clients of Global. shall be liable for any medical expenses, nor for any claim for personal injury, however caused. |
8 | GYM and their clients, shall not be held responsible for the damage or loss of all crew personal belongings/equipment. |
9 | Upon request, GYM will keep friends and family up dated on the delivery progress. |
10 | Crew are responsible for all their own expenses while ashore. All on-board expenses are paid for by the captain. |
11 | Crew must show a valid prove of them carrying sufficient funds for their own expenses throughout the journey. |
12 | All Crew must be aware that they must vacate the vessel upon completion/hand-over This may sometimes take up to four days. |
13 | It is the Crew responsibility to inform GYM (upon registration) and the Captain (upon departure) of any personal minor or major illness/food allergy/personal diets, etc... |
14 | It is advisable to have a US visa for all deliveries, as most return flights from popular destinations are routed via the USA. |
15 | All Crew must provide their own foul weather gear/life jacket/harness/ and sleeping bag. |
16 | Crews must understand that delays in scheduling can occur and GYM is not responsible for the associated living or travel cost incurred. |
17 | GYM, the yacht's owners, and their agents have the right to dismiss any Captain or crew at any time during a delivery, if his/her actions compromise the safety, of the delivery. |
18 | Even though it is necessary for crew to show to the captain that he/she has sufficient funds for their own expenses, any arrangements made directly with the captain without the approval of GYM are not the responsibility of GYM. Therefore, any agreement regarding finances, travel, work etc., made with the Captain will be strictly between the two parties. GYM, their clients and their client's agents will not be held liable for any such agreement. |
19 | As per a company policy, any applicant must be registered with GYM in order to take part on any of our delivery and submit all the necessary information required by GYM. |
20 | Crew registration subject to 49.00 fee for a duration of 12 months. |
